Both hosts return for this weeks episode. We start the episode with an update on the Worst Winter Transfer as Barcelona use their emergency extension to trigger the release clause of Martin Braithwaite from Leganes. These two transfers, Ighalo to Man U and Braithwaite to Barcelona, are worst winter transfers. Probably the biggest news over the week was that Manchester City got a 2-year Champions League ban from UEFA as they looked into their Financial Fair Play (FFP), along with 30 M euro fine. What will this mean for the club, players, staff if the ban is not overturned? Has anyone seen two red cards given to the same player in the same game? Tune in to listen to the story from Spain’s 2nd division. Wayne Rooney, now at Derby, is coming back to Old Trafford to play against Man United in the FA Cup. As winter transfer is behind us in Europe, we now focus on the MLS transfers as MLS is set to start February 29. So far no much news from Nashville, and Inter Miami still looking to complete their Designated Players spots. LAFC keeps getting stronger, and LA Galaxy move to get Chicharito. Champions League is back and we discussed the 4 games during the week where Leipzig won away in London against Spurs. Atalanta destroy Valencia 4-1 at home. Dortmund wining at home against PSG 2-1 with Haland scoring both goals. And finally Atletico Madrid wining at home 1-0 against Liverpool, but also making Liverpool get 0 shots on goals for the first time in 13 month. We finish the episode with our MUST/MISS section where we suggest games that our listeners should follow during this international break... or not follow.
