Christian and Vince met at Brock U and instantly bonded over their love of horror films. In third year they became housemates, and dragged two unsuspecting females into the mix! When not playing Dragon's Lair, The Donkey Kong Country Trilogy, or attending class, they were watching or making horror movies. "Fatal Friends" and "Director's Cut" (teaser here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-FmVTfeHBY ) were just 2 examples of the terror they unleashed. Cut to: 18 years later (Nov 2013) and the ...

Goobz & Toby pick one retro video game each episode to play. They discuss the history, story, game play, music, fun facts, then rate it at the end from 1-10. The goal is to see which old games hold up today and maybe see if some of our favorites are only good due to nostalgia. The guys mostly play games on NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, SEGA Genesis, Playstation, PS2, and any other dead console they can get their hands on.*ADULT LANGUAGE IS USED*

Each episode, we discuss at least one classic game each, looking at them from a modern perspective but also remembering where they stand in the evolution of game development. Sometimes they're games we played and loved growing up. Sometimes they're games we missed and are experiencing for the first time. Though we each have our core beloved genres, we all play a variety of games of various styles, eras, and platforms.

Industry experts Frank Cifaldi and Kelsey Lewin, co-Directors of the Video Game History Foundation, bring on fellow content creators, game developers, video game historians, and storytellers to teach us a little bit about video game history. Our casual, “chatting over coffee” style interviews let us see the true life of a researcher: bang-your-head-against-a-wall dead-ends, “I can’t believe no one’s told this story before” moments, the thrill of sharing incredible history with the world, and ...

His mission: To relay to his newfound alien brethren Earth’s most profound and beloved tales from across film, television and literature… t ...

Spaceman is a podcast about video games and the ways they affect our lives. When I was growing up I wanted to be a spaceman. And indeed I grew up to become one--as John Shepard, captain of the Normandy and the first human spectre. I also grew up to be an assassin and a witty pirate and an urban planner and an alcoholic depressed bodyguard. Video games let us become anything we want to become. They let us experience things outside of our own realities. Sometimes those experiences are superfic ...

Bonus Barrel - Gaming Pod You like games? Well we love them! It's not a contest, okay? We're four people who gather together like a fleshy Voltron to talk about various games and game topics. Overall, I give this podcast a 3.3 out 10 and it has a 27 on Metacritic. It's worth nothing, and it should be obvious, but all the views on this show are by us and us only. Any pathetic attempt at comedy should be taken in consideration. Our "damage" segment is a recommendation system only, and not so m ...
