Sounds From The Ziggurat Podcast is a Podcast primarily about celebrating some of the unsigned, forgotten or perhaps just totally awesome tracks from mostly Brighton bands between the years of 2000-2010. We will feature chats with band members and promoters of the era and I will also recount some of my experiences of the scene and its myriad of venues. Alongside the old, I will also feature a new track or artist on each episode in a hope to showcase some of the great music still being produced.
The purpose of this podcast is to provide the larger context to the situation in the Middle East. The history will be provided through audio recordings of my late father, Dr. David Neiman –an expert on the history of the ancient near east and the relationship between the Church and the Jews. He based his theses on historical records, linguistics and a deep understanding of the Bible and its origins.
