2019 Alabama vs Ole Miss

Alabama Football Podcast Breaks Down the Tide’s record setter against Ole Miss

In this episode Tom and Dave from the Alabama Football Podcast break down the Tide’s 2019 Home Conference opener against Ole Miss

Tua, DeVonta, and Forristall?

Tua continues to rewrite the Alabama record books and Smitty writ his name as well, catching five of Tua’s incredible six touchdown passes on the day. For what promises to be a good trivia question one day, amongst all the pass catching talent on the roster, it was tight end Miller Forristall corralling Tua’s sixth scoring toss.

Running Game

The offense line is improving, the running backs are finding their lanes, and Dieonte Brown is back in action. It may not happen overnight, but the running game is on the right track.

31 Points Allowed, No Problem

Allowing Ole Miss to score 31 points certainly leaves a bad taste in your mouth, but its also not a reason for panic. Check out our breakdown of why this not the harbinger you’re looking for.

Where’s Slade

As previously discussed, we saw play action involving Slade that may be a promise of things to come. Listen and let us know if you agree.

Odds and Ends

This was a solo show so liberties were taken. We discuss a new bar to revisit, a new restaurant to skip, and a new bourbon to sample, amongst other things.

Mini Game balls

Anyone can read a headline, but which players contributed in more subtle ways to the Tide’s fortune?
