Lori Buffington recalls how she and her mother, Marvel Noyes, got involved with the founding of the Cedar Mill Library back in the mid-70s. Lori remembers the earliest incarnation of the library when it was the Book Van, before there was even a building. She remained involved in a variety of volunteer positions over the years and gives us a good picture of how the library has grown since those early days. To celebrate our 40th anniversary in 2014, we're looking back at how CML began with these interviews. Be sure to look at our earlier Founder Histories with Georgia & Jack Thurber, Muriel and Allen Van Veen, Mary Packer and Janette Gill.
