Do you know the contents or ingredients of the food you eat? Do you check labels and read about them? If not, then it's time that you should. One of the many things found in our food is glyphosate. What is glyphosate in the first place?

Glyphosate is an herbicide applied to the leaves of plants to kill both broadleaf plants and grasses. The sodium salt form of glyphosate regulates plant growth and ripens specific crops. While this helps the plants grow faster, it can also destroy them.

Glyphosate is a non-selective herbicide. It means that it works by inhibiting the action of a plant enzyme, the shikimic acid pathway. Sounds alarming, right? The good news is that this episode is all about glyphosate. So, grab your friends, take a seat and join us in another epic episode with your favorite, Cup of Nurses! ☕☕
