Dr. Rashmi Schramm joins us today to discuss Energy, Focus and Clarity through Meditation. Dr. Schramm defines meditation as moving from activity into silence, and explains that it’s about practicing mindfulness, which is essentially paying attention to the moment without judgment and with curiosity. She will also discuss the benefits of regular meditation for our health, especially during a pandemic, and how we can bring more mindfulness into our lives. She’ll even lead us in a guided meditation!
Dr. Rashmi Schramm is a board certified family physician in her 21st year of practice. She is also a national board certified integrative health coach and a meditation teacher. Dr. Schramm is the founder of Optimal Wellness, where she incorporates evidence-based meditation and breath-work techniques into individual and group coaching. She helps busy women to let go of guilt and tap into inner peace and power so they can live more connected, energetic and purposeful lives.
