That's according to one recruiter who says that 2021 might be the year to ask for a raise.
After last year's economic uncertainty, many businesses are now looking to expand.
Shannon Barlow, from Frog Recruiter, told Kate Hawkesby women might have a harder time asking for a pay raise than men.
"Women are more likely to suffer from imposter syndrome, a doubt of their own talents and skills."
She says that all employees should know their value when it comes to negotiating a raise.
