Self-love is about having an inner acceptance and gentle toughness of knowing that you have your own back. That you are prepared to be your own best friend. That you can be gentle and patient with yourself, as well as being persistent and resilient.

When you love yourself first, you love the work in progress that is you instead of chasing ‘the you’ of your perfectionist fantasies.

Join me to explore the concept of self-love and several different concepts about what it means to ‘love yourself first’ in today’s episode.

In this episode you will learn: what it means to love yourself; why it’s important to love yourself; the concept of loving yourself first when prioritising self-care for you; and why it’s important to love and accept yourself as you are, before you lose weight or change some other aspect of yourself.
