Episode #110 features Andy Husbands talking barbecue, Larry Olmsted explaining how being a sports fan enhances your life, and our very own Jeff Cohen telling about his incredible New York Mets Fantasy Camp experience including interviews with Duffy Dyer and Joel Youngblood.

Andy Husbands is a chef, restaurateur, author, and television personality. An award winning pitmaster, he currently is the owner of five Smoke Shop BBQ restaurants located throughout Boston, MA and is the three-time winner of Boston Magazine's "Best Barbecue" in 2018, 2019, and 2021. He also works to bring awareness to the charity, Share Our Strength, the nation's leading childhood hunger relief organization. He may not have won season six of the television show, Hell's Kitchen, but he has a lot to say about the experience and so many other things which he has accomplished on his culinary journey.

Larry Olmsted tries to follow the best career advice he ever received and that is, "Do what you love." For the past 25 years he has been doing that as he works as a journalist. He has written countless newspaper and magazine articles as well as books. His latest book involved more than five years of research and is titled, Fans: How Watching Sports Makes Us Happier, Healthier, and More Understanding. The world is full of sports fans and according to his research, many of those fans are physically and mentally healthier, happier, and more productive. Special thanks to episode #99 guest, Steven Raichlen for bringing Larry and his book to our attention.

Prior to our first guest, we get to hear from Jeff all about his wonderful week-long experience at New York Mets Fantasy Camp. Jeff describes the thrill of playing baseball with fellow Mets fans as they are coached by many of the Mets players he has loved watching. He even interviewed Duffy Dyer and Joel Youngblood and those interviews are all part of this episode.

We conclude the show with the song, "Baseball Always Brings You Home" from the musician, Dave Dresser and the poet, Shel Krakofsky.

We recommend you go to Fifth & Cherry, for wonderful cutting boards and for grill tools and clothing for barbecue and baseball fans and the Pandemic Baseball Book Club, to find many of the wonderful books we have featured as well as some additional swag.

We truly appreciate our listeners and hope that all of you are staying safe.
