#144 – Face to face will never go away - Krista Burslam

Krista Burslam is the Clinical Director for Urgent & Emergency Care at eConsult which enables NHS based GP practices to offer online consultations to their patients. This allows patients to submit their symptoms or requests to their own GP electronically and offers around the clock NHS self-help information, signposting to services, and a symptom checker.

Krista joins me on the podcast today to talk about her role at eConsult, her background as a Nurse, their ideal clients and the vision of eConsult. I really enjoyed our conversation, Krista is easy to talk to, easy to listen to and has so much to offer our listeners.

This week on The Business of Healthcare:

  • Who is Krista Burslam and her background in healthcare
  • EConsult and how it works
  • The vision of eConsult
  • What is eTriage?
  • What gaps did the surge in business highlight?
