2020 was a hard year, and then the pandemic hit. But in hard times there was hope - we remembered the importance of the public sector, and had a government that was concerned about the majority of the populations welfare. But after all of that we reverted back to our old ways of worshipping the private sector. Eva Cox reaffirms that the neo-liberal market has brought nothing of value to our society and couldn't save us from the pandemic, but we continue to worship it as if it does.
