  • At age 26, Logan found out that he had high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Plus, the doctor said he was pre-diabetic and pre-obese.
  • At 26, you should be in the best shape of your life, and Logan sadly had let himself go.
  • The doctor told Logan that if he kept doing what he was doing, he would die. It was a total wake-up call.
  • A few days later, Logan got a gym membership and committed for the entire year.
  • If the gym intimates you, then Logan says not to worry – everyone goes through that phase.
  • Logan met a YouTube trainer at the gym who told him how to get shredded using exercise, keto, and fasting.
  • It’s crazy that you can eat all this butter, fat, and meat while losing weight.

  • In college, Logan would say, “what’s goody?”
  • Logan wanted to make beats for rappers, so he claimed the name Goody Beats.
  • When Twitter came out, Logan took the name Goody Beats.

  • Falling For Tricky Marketing Tactics
    • Always look at the ingredients.
    • Just because you see keto on the box doesn’t mean it’s actually keto.
  • You Are Scared of Fat
    • Fat and carbs are your fuel sources. If you don’t give yourself enough fat, then you won’t have enough energy.
    • When following keto, increase your healthy fats.
  • You Aren’t Avoiding The Keto Flu
    • People don't understand the importance of magnesium, potassium, and sodium.
    • Keto flu has nothing to do with keto. It’s an issue with withdrawing from carbohydrates.

  • If you had a weekend of fun, then forget about it! You don’t need to dwell on what happened.
  • Don’t punish yourself for eating something “bad.”
  • Also, don’t focus too much on what you’re eating. For instance, if you are enjoying a family event, then enjoy the event!
  • Don’t let eating get you down.
  • Once you get back from an event, then focus on your normal routine.
  • After a trip, get back to your fasting and get back to your keto diet; you're going to be fine.
  • Having a negative relationship with food and your body is just not good for your mind, body, and soul.

  • When you go to the grocery store now, there is keto everything.
  • In 2012, there was nothing keto. So, Logan had to get creative in the kitchen.
  • If people think they can’t do keto because they love ice cream, that’s simply not true!

  • Always look at the ingredients and make sure that it actually fits into your lifestyle.

  • When Logan first started doing keto, he got a lot of negativity from trainers in the gym.
  • Logan isn’t a science guy, he doesn’t know how things work, but he has his experiences.
  • Always try things; you don’t have to keep doing it if it doesn’t work out.
  • When Logan found the keto community, he felt so supported.
  • The keto space is the best community because people want to work together as a team to help other people.
