The White House has announced that the pandemic national emergency has been extended into its second year. The FDA said that the Johnson & Johnson vaccine meets the requirements for the emergency use authorization. According to the White House, three to four million doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is to be allocated by next week if it gets authorized by the FDA. Moderna has updated its covid-19 vaccine designs to combat the South America coronavirus variant.
