Can someone please help me understand WHY so many people refuse to do the bare minimum it takes to be successful? If your work is important to you, why wouldn’t you SHOW UP? I’ll admit I’m coming to you today from a place of frustration. In trying to fill some key positions here at the brokerage, I am running to applicants who are unable to follow instructions and unwilling to answer a few simple questions via email so that I can determine if they’ll be a good fit. This subpar effort got me thinking about real estate agents, who have to create their own business. It takes an immense amount of work to be an outstanding professional in this industry, and if you’re not willing to put in the time and effort—if you’re not willing to show up—it’s time to take a hard look in the mirror and decide if this is the right place for you. Today on the podcast, I share my hiring process and the challenges I am facing in finding people who want to be a part of the movement at Kurz Real Estate. I walk us through the qualities of a successful real estate professional and the importance of applying the skills you learn in trainings. Listen in and get inspired to show up for your business—and your life!
