This week 2GTR host John Kane and special guest co-host Boston Rock Radio DJ Legend and major Rush fan Mike Hsu continue to deep dive into the background of one rocks most legendary bass players Billy Sheehan! Sheehan is known for his work with Talas, Steve Vai, David Lee Roth, Mr. Big, Niacin, and The Winery Dogs. And his latest Sons of Apollo an progressive metal supergroup formed in 2017 and composed of drummer Mike Portnoy, bassist Billy Sheehan, keyboardist Derek Sherinian, vocalist Jeff Scott Soto, and guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal.
