Well Hello! Did you think we forgot about you? Absolutely not! Strap yourself in for another deep dive episode of the Two Guys Talking Rush Podcast! Where Handsome Johnny and Delightful Dan serve up another heaping helping of all things RUSH! This week’s topic ––Rush and Religion–– But don’t be afraid. We discuss this sensitive topic respectfully and with the assistance of two well known scholars…Tom Beaudoin and Donna Halper. Friend of the show, Tom Beaudoin earned his Master of Theological Studies from Harvard University School of Divinity in 1996 and has a Ph.D. in Religion and Education at Boston College…he also a massive Rush fan! Donna Halper needs no introduction on our show… Donna is a Boston-based historian and radio consultant. Beginning in 1968, she worked as a radio disc jockey and music director, and is credited with discovering the progressive rock band Rush while at WMMS in Cleveland in 1974. She has taught courses in broadcasting, media criticism, and media history, and is author of a number of books, including the first book-length study devoted to the history of women in American broadcasting, Invisible Stars: A Social History of Women in American Broadcasting. Thank you Tom and Donna! So there it is …another adventurous topic where you may actually learn something new about your favorite band ~ RUSH! Thank you Rush fans for all of your support! Be safe.
